Hiya!!!
My name is actually Emma, not Emseypop. There’s a story behind the nickname which I hate but use, but I’ll not bore anyone with it! I’m Irish, and I’m a teenager, two things I can’t help but probably wouldn’t change. I’m a reader, which I suppose explains why I also love to write. My favourite authors include people like Louisa May Alcott and Meg Cabot. I’m also trying desperately to like Jane Austen because everyone else seems to, but I have to admit that her books are a real trial for me! I also love music, and my favourite artists range from The Dixie Chicks to Bowling For Soup to Brad Paisley to Aretha Franklin. I hate modern dance music, you know, that techno stuff which in no way resembles anything other than a computer- there’s no soul in that music! I generally love music which other people my age (17) hate. I watch alot of tv and I like films too- usually comedies. In saying this, I hate those juvenile films that just make a pile of jokes about farts and stuff- Adam Sandler films. To be honest, I don’t know why I have a blog- I just love the idea of writing stuff about my life that the World can read if they want to.
As I’ve mentioned, I’m sixteen, I have just completed my GCSEs and I get asked what I want to do in the future alot at the minute. The answer? I haven’t a baldy! Journalism- maybe. Teaching-maybe. Presenting-maybe. I really don’t know- I’d like a stress free job with some prospects- does that even exist? Deciding what to do takes alot out of a person, actually doing it must be terrible!
