I’ve been wearing traintracks for almost two years now and to say that they are a pain in the hindquarter is the understatement of the century. I have been hoping every visit to the orthodontist would see me brace-free for the past nine months now and every time I sit in that chair I hope he’ll tell me they are coming off. No such luck! Today was the biggest disappointment of all as three weeks ago he told me they would come off on my next appointment if all my gaps were closed. They weren’t, and my orthodontist seemed as disappointed as me that the tracks are staying put. He is, despite his choice of career, an extremely nice man, and I have had several enjoyable vists to his surgery, even with the pain in my mouth. He has a great sense of humour and loves to tease me about my habit of humming while he’s working with my teeth. Here’s to you, Sean!! Anyway, I should be able to get them off in a few weeks time and I’ll be counting down the days until my next appointment.
On a lighter note, I have really been enjoying The Gilmore Girls in recent weeks. Being off school allows me to watch alot more t.v than usual, and I discovered this little gem one morning while waiting for the old One Tree Hill repeats which air every morning on E4. One Tree Hill is also a great programme, but, to be totally honest, it doesn’t hold a candle to the best teen drama ever written, The OC. This show, which I will never tire of (I own all four series’ on box set) was axed in 2007 but I love to watch it every evening and the storylines will never grow old to me, especially season 4, my favourite.
I’ll yap at yez later!!
